S.M.A.R.T. method to achieve all your goals

Nowadays, even various scientific studies have proven that goal setting is a very important segment for progress in any area of life. Of course, it is very important how we set our goals and what technique we use to ensure almost certain achievement of those goals. It is in this text that we will discuss the basic technique for setting goals which, if you follow everything it requires, will provide you with the perfect roadmap that will lead you to the realization of your dreams.

If you are serious about achieving success in any area of life (sports, health, finances, family, business, etc.) it is important to know that it is crucial to set goals for yourself. If you know how to properly set goals for each area of life, you will get a very useful tool to help you achieve your desires. It is well known that we all have some desires that we want to fulfill, such as living a less stressful life, having more money, having ideal relationships, looking better… It is interesting that, although we have similar desires, some of us are easily achieved while others struggle to achieve at least a part of it. Wondering why this is so? OBJECTIVES appear on the stage here. The study also proved that people who wrote down their goals were on average ten times more successful than those who didn't, think about this!

S.M.A.R.T. METHOD

There are basic criteria or rules that we need to follow to properly formulate our goals and sub-goals. The most useful method used is the SMART method which consists of the following criteria:

1. Specific - A specific goal is one that clearly and unambiguously defines what we want to achieve. So the goal should clearly emphasize what we want to achieve. We need to answer the questions: “What exactly do I want to achieve? How can I achieve this goal and in what way? ”. You can't say, "I want to improve my health." We need to say it in a more specific way: "I will jog at least 2 kilometers every day."

2. Measurable - Every goal we set must be measurable and expressed in Braille because that way we know whether we have achieved the goal or not. Also in this way we condition our subconscious to try to find ways to achieve these goals. For example: "I'll run one kilometer in less than three minutes."

3. Attainable - An achievable goal pushes us above our average capabilities but is still achievable and achievable. Do not set too easy, nor too difficult a goal that your current skills and knowledge cannot achieve. So let the goal be hard enough to make you jump out of your comfort zone, but not too hard so you don’t give up on it easily. For example, you won't say, "My goal is to have an annual income of $ 1,000,000 this year," and you don't currently earn even $ 1,000 a month. Be a little more realistic. Set yourself a goal, for example: "My annual income for 2021 will be $ 50,000." This is much more realistic and achievable.

4. Realistic - A realistic goal is a goal that is placed in a realistic context. It is meant that, when writing down the goal, all criteria were taken into account, such as circumstances, knowledge, skills, current situation, finances, possibility, etc. You certainly won't write, "I'm becoming a world boxing champion this year." It is more realistic to write something like: "This year I will play in all qualifying tournaments for the World Cup and I will do my best along the way."

5. Time-bound - a time-bound goal has a precisely defined time frame for its fulfillment. Our brain loves deadlines, and when we set the time for which we want to achieve something, our subconscious will try to deliver all the ways to achieve those goals by that deadline. We can write, for example: "By the end of 2021, I want to learn all the techniques that will help me be more productive in my work."

BONUS ADVICE

The bonus advice I would give you regarding the achievement of all your set goals is ACTION. Without action, no goal is achievable or achievable. Goals only serve you to know where you are going and to be aware of all the opportunities that arise that can help you achieve them.

Also, think about, for each goal you set, what tasks you could do each day that would help you reach your goal. Introduce all these tasks into your daily routines. These tasks are like the steps you take and approach the goal.

Read your goals in the morning as soon as you get up, as well as in the evening before bed. At that time, your subconscious is most accessible, and you can more easily plant your goals in it than during the day. Wake up in the morning with a vision of your goals as already achieved, and fall asleep with that image in the evening.

10 key qualities that every leader should have

Leadership is a skill that, like all other business skills, is learned and improved. In addition to being used in business circumstances, leadership is also used in social, family, political, sports, and other circumstances. In the following, we will list ten traits that are crucial for each leader. 1. EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION - We as leaders, or managers in a business environment, need to know how to communicate well with our clients, employees, associates, and others. Why is that so? When we put together an idea in our head about how this job should be done, what it should look like, what it should contain, and so on, we need to know how to properly convey it to our associates and clients so that they would not be misunderstood completely. Communication is a skill that is learned and all good leaders must possess good communication skills to succeed on their path. Ego - your best friend or biggest enemy?

Do you often compare yourself with others? Do you often underestimate others? Do you often praise others while belittling yourself? The only person you need to compare yourself to is with yourself from yesterday. EGO in Latin means "I". The ego represents your identity, what you think you are. The ego is a filter through which we observe ourselves, our environment, and the people around us. The ego is a set of experiences from the past, and its function is to help us survive. If it is in a healthy measure, it has a positive function, and that is to correct our mistakes, to behave appropriately to the circumstances, and more. When our ego is hurt, we become more aware of our environment, we become hypersensitive, nervous, and frustrated. We become self-critical, pessimistic, frustrated, dissatisfied with ourselves, unfulfilled, etc. Every person has an ego and it is impossible to "kill" it, but it is very important to ask yourself whether you control the ego, or th...

Do you have problems with overthinking?

EXCESSIVE THINKING IS MAINLY CONCERNED BY ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION As part of anxiety disorders and depressive states, a very common occurrence is excessive thinking, which can also be an integral part of unhealthy feelings such as jealousy, anger, guilt, and others. Excessive thinking in itself can lead to aggravation or maintenance of these conditions. Many who have this disorder justify it by equating it with being able to look at things from multiple perspectives and prepare to face potential negative outcomes. In reality, it's not really like that. The outcome mostly comes down to the fact that, from what we have been thinking about so much, it has never and will never happen and it has taken a lot of our time, energy, mental and physical strength. People equate excessive thinking with problem-solving, but there is a difference. The problem to be solved is based on seeing the advantages and disadvantages of possible options, and making the best decision based on the conclusion...
